Het toont een overzicht van een halve eeuw aan bijzondere en luxe projecten van (interieur)architect Bertram Beerbaum.","Samen met Bertram selecteerden we hiervoor de beelden en bepaalden we de juiste  volgorde. Dat leverde soms lange vergaderingen op en avonden van bijschaven en puzzelen. Mij werd gevraagd om als art director mee te denken en de layout en typografie te verzorgen.","","Het boek bestaat uit twee delen. Het grootste deel bestaat uit portfolio, uit foto’s, verhalen en schetsen; het andere deel (the other half) uit persoonlijke verhalen van Bertram zelf en over zijn studio Kabaz (waarvan hij mede-eigenaar is).","Het resultaat is een indrukwekkend staaltje drukwerk (met dank aan drukkerij Tesink). Drie verschillende papiersoorten, Japanse binding, twee leesrichtingen, een linnen casette én een luxe linnen box waarin zowel het boek, de standaard, de boekenlegger en een geurtje verpakt zitten.
